Role:
Cyber Security Risk Manager


Salary:
£55k to £72k


Location:
Birmingham


Benefits:

Responsibilities:


  • Provide security advice best practices to ensure riskbased approach to Cyber Security
  • Advice to stakeholders
  • Expert security advice to help the Security team make a wellinformed decision
  • Undertake risk management activities within risk management governance structures and framework
  • Ensure that security policies and security controls are maintained
  • Analyse and advise on the technical and security solutions
  • Create and maintain security standards in accordance to the regulations
  • Ensure risk acceptances and mitigation plans are in place as appropriate
  • Be responsible for refining and improving reporting
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement activities for risk management

Essential:


  • Demonstrable SME level expertise
  • Knowledge of related security accreditations and standards
  • Ability to understand complex technical systems or solutions
  • Ability to identify risks and provide pragmatic advice
  • Ability to align risk processes
  • Technical understanding of Information Security and cyber security
  • Build relationships & work collaboratively with colleagues
  • Experience and knowledge of cyber, IT and data risk
  • Build positive relationships with both senior executives

Education:


  • Rolerelevant qualifications are desirable.
