THE COMPANY

This growing Chartered Accountancy & Advisory practice has a strong presence in the Northwest region and continues to expand its regional and national footprint.

The firm advises SME and Mid-Market Corporate clients across a wide range of industry sectors,providing expert Audit & Assurance, Accounts / Business Services, Tax Planning, Corporate Finance / M&A and Corporate Recovery solutions.

THE OPPORTUNITY

An Accounts Senior position has arisen within the firms Bolton office which offers involvement in all aspects of General Accountancy Practice work and long term career progression to Manager.

Accounts Senior duties & responsibilities will involve:

Working with a portfolio of SME and Mid-market Corporate clients c.£100k t/o
£5m t/o
Preparation of Year-End Accounts and Corporation Tax Computations for limited companies
Overseeing Bookkeeping and VAT work prepared by junior staff
Production of Management Accounts and presentation to clients at Monthly / Quarterly review meetings
Use of Xero, Kashflow and Sage on a daily basis

THE PERSON
You will be an Accountancy professional able to demonstrate the following:

ACCA Finalist or Qualified
Background within Accountancy Practice (c.3 years minimum)
Accounts Preparation, Tax Computations and Business Services experience
Experience of working with SME and Owner-Managed businesses
Good working knowledge of Xero and possibly other online / cloud accounting software
