Career Teachers are working with secondary schools in Leeds who will need Cover Supervisors for January 2023.

We have high demand levels at the moment, and seek cover supervisors who are happy to work on a flexible basis across a number of different schoolswhere required We are able to accommodate both part time and full time - the nature of the work means that you can pick and choose the days you work.

This role would suit someone who has either the experience or the talent for engaging well with children.

You will actively seek to develop independence and self esteem of students and to work with them to help achieve their goals.


  • Have very high expectations yourself and your pupils
  • Be confident in achieving an orderly classroom through use of the school behaviour policy
  • Be able to communicate effectively, in a number of different methods
  • Be able to use the ICT at your disposal as a learning tool
  • Remain calm in potentially stressful situations
  • Possess great organisational skills and great flexibility
