Learning Support Assistants - ASC, Enfield

  • SEND School
  • Based in Enfield
  • Full-Time
- £75-£80 a day *Depending on experience


Empowering Learning are currently recruiting for 8x Learning Support Assistants to work within a SEND secondary School based in Enfield supporting pupils with ASC and complex needs.

We are looking for a dynamic and adaptable Learning Support Assistant, thatwill be able to support pupils daily in the classroom.

Some of the pupils you will be supporting will have various SEND needs, experience of supporting different needs would be desirable but not essential.

You will play a key role in supporting the pupilswith communication, learning, and independence, in a safe and inclusive environment to help their development.


Responsibilities:


  • Supporting pupils with ASC
  • Supervising pupil's behaviour
  • Encourage and support the pupils learning and development
  • Support social interaction
  • Helping the teacher prepare for lessons and plan activities
  • Personal care

Job Requirements

  • Experience of support children or adults with ASC
  • Experience supporting children with learning difficulties or disabilities
  • Strong communication skills
  • Available 5 days a week
  • Able to commit to 612 months
