Panel Wireman

Waterlooville

£12-£14 per hour


Panel Wireman required to work for a leading manufacturing firm based in Waterlooville, You will be an experienced Panel wireman who can hit the ground running and be part of a fast paced highly reputable business that is committed to offering the best high level service for its customers worldwide.


I am looking for panel wirers who have experience within the electronics/wiring industry and can work from and interpret wiring schematics and panel layout drawings.

Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and diagrams, Wiring and assembly of components for control cabinets and panels, Looming, Crimping, and terminating wires using hand tools.


The Panel Wireman will be responsible for:
Assembling control panels to bespoke wiring schematics and drawings. Testing and kitting finished panels ready for dispatch.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Fit, wire, build and assemble power control cabinets
  • You must be able to understand electrical drawings
  • Previous use and experience with hand tools
  • Fit electrical components and electrical wiring working from schematics and drawings
  • Minor Soldering
  • Installations of large electrical control cabinets
  • Working to schematic drawings
  • Dealing with high and low volume wiring assemblies
  • Fault finding and repair
  • Little amount of producing looms.
  • Installation and testing of electrical panels and cable assemblies
  • Maintaining of technical records
Experience

  • Good communication skills and an understanding of verbal and written English
  • Excellent attendance levels and attitude
  • Attention to detail
  • Control panel experience is essential
  • Excellent attention to detail
