An exciting opportunity has arisen to join The Oxford School of Global and Area Studies as the Contemporary China Studies Programme (CCSP) Administrator on a permanent basis.


The Programme is now seeking a talented, versatile and conscientious full-time administrator to support the day-to-day delivery and administration of the MSc and MPhil in Modern South Asian Studies, the organisation of events for the Contemporary South Asian Studies Programme (CSASP) and the academic activity of colleagues in South Asian Studies more broadly.


About the Role:

This is a highly responsible role within the OSGA wider administration team of professional staff reporting to the Head of Administration and Finance, in a vibrant and dynamic University department.


The post holder will have a wide range of responsibilities from supporting the Programme Director and the school-wide OSGA Exam Board, administrative colleagues in Examination Schools, liaising closely with academic colleagues within Contemporary China Studies Programme and beyond, and providing administrative support with research ethics approvals.
