Description

Are you proactive with a flexible approach when completing tasks? A confident communicator, at ease corresponding with a wide range of different people? Do you have a proficient level of IT competency? We are seeking a Transport Shift Operator, within ourLogistics operation, to join our team in Immingham.


Working Mon - Fri, 06:00 - 14:00 & 14:00 - 22:00 on alternating weeks, you will be tasked with a combination of administrative and operational tasks which differ during each shift.

This will include creating the paperwork for our drivers, communicating,and helping to resolve any day-to-day issues, at the time of briefing and/or debriefing.

Updating our customers and liaising with our customer service team with regards to VIP deliveries and their status. Maintaining various systems with any changes of informationi.e., equipment number alterations etc. in a timely manner.

General problem solving and pre-empting of issues, ensuring trailers are booked in with jobs before other departments require the relevant data.


A good level of administration experience & solid IT skills covering Microsoft packages is essential for this role, combined with the ability to develop understanding of internal & external systems.

The capability to work on your own initiative combinedwith a driven approach to the work undertaken is required, as you will be responsible for monitoring & maintaining current records to meet the business requirements.

If you enjoy an administration role and have proven reliability, with a flexible & adaptableway of working, then you could be well suited for this position.

Experience within the transport industry would be beneficial.
