Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a large Public Sector Organisation in Surrey who are looking to recruit a Finance Manager on a initial 6 month interim contract.

The role offers hybrid working and there is a strong potential of the contractbeing extended.

Key responsibilities include;

  • Provide financial advice to nonfinance staff driving efficiencies
  • Prepare annual budgets and proactively review budget statements to present into senior management
  • Assist with Cost Improvement Programmes and provide commentary on the financial position
  • Produce accurate forecasts of the yearend financial position and review accruals in conjunction with budget holders
  • Investigate variances, and produce monthly budget statements
  • Contributing to strategic financial plans with divisional leads
The person;

  • Strong excel skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience within the public sector
