Role and responsibilities


The role offers the opportunity to play a leading part in developing the business under an ambitious medium-term plan in collaboration with the existing Harrogate and London based teams, which currently consists of eight investment managers and administrativesupport.


The role will involve:


  • Identifying and developing new client relationships.
  • Management of a growing portfolio of client relationships.
  • Contributing to investment policy decisions at Investment Committee meetings, selection and monitoring of a concentrated preferred list of global equities as part of the Investment Team.
  • Assisting with a variety of company projects and initiatives.
  • The role presents an exciting opportunity to assume wide ranging investment management and client relationship responsibilities delivering an ambitious growth plan as an integral member of a small but dynamic and wellrespected firm.
  • The role is full time and will be based at our Harrogate office, working closely with the existing Investment Director based there.

The option to work from home when appropriate will be considered but the individual is expected to be predominantly officebased.

The role will involve regular travel to the Haddington and London offices for meetings with colleagues and throughout the North of England for client and company meetings and for business development purposes.

Holidays:

25 days per year; increases to 30 days depending upon time spent with company.
