We are looking for a Patient Care
Assistant to come join the team at Cromlyn House Vets.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and compassionate patient care assistant to join the team.

You would work alongside a team of vets, nurses and receptionists, and would be dedicated in ensuring that we continue to deliver excellent customer service and patient care.

Experience within a similar role and currently studying for or completion of PCA qualification is preferred.

This opportunity allows for a great work/life balance in a very rewarding field.


This is a part time position to cover 30 hours a week Monday-Friday as well as an equal share in the weekend rota.

This position is in line with National Minimum Wage + 3% cost of living increase and includes benefits.


Your responsibilities will be a mixture of Reception and PCA such as**:

  • Nursing care to patients.
  • Preparation of emergency and operating facilities.
  • General cleaning and maintenance duties.
  • Running internal lab samples.
  • Answering phone calls and dealing with incoming enquires, along with triaging emergencies.
  • Serving clients and taking payments.
  • Providing a friendly, efficient and effective service to clients.
