Protocol Education is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in South Shields.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with teachers to implement engaging activities and lesson plans.
Adapt materials to meet the individual requirements of students with special educational needs (SEN).
Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment by supervising students at all times.

Support teachers in assessing student progress and development.

Requirements:

Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting.
Genuine passion for supporting students with SEN and disabilities.
Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
Minimum of a high school diploma; a qualification in education or child development is advantageous.
Teaching experience is preferred but not required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
