Your future duties and responsibilities

In this role you will act as the focus of an Infrastructure Team developing Infrastructure solutions, contributing general technical knowledge and experience.


  • Set and manage stakeholder expectations regarding infrastructure.
  • Assess current and emergent technology, giving advice on price and performance.
  • Develop relationships with infrastructure product vendors.
  • Align the technology with the business and customer goals, identifying benefits and risk mitigation approaches associated with the proposed solution.
  • Ensure infrastructure risks are managed, in particular nonfunctional requirements, including availability, scalability and performance.
  • Support formal and informal technical reviews to assure quality of the infrastructure solution design.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role

ou will need a proven track record in leading the development of a range of Infrastructure solutions, ensuring consistency with specified requirements agreed with both external/internal customers.


  • Demonstrable success in a similar infrastructure role
  • Risk, Cost Driven awareness
  • TOGAF aware.
  • Extensive experience of presenting Infrastructure solutions to clients.
  • Ability to share knowledge at an architect level at all levels.
  • Extensive experience of assessing and mitigating technical and nontechnical issues and risks.
  • Experience of generating reliable cost estimates for infrastructure elements of small to medium sized projects.
