Castell Howell Foods is Wales' leading independent food service wholesaler, servicing the length and breadth of Wales, the Border Counties and the South West of England.

We currently have a vacancy for a full or part time

Order Processor based at our Cross Hands depot.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Answer incoming calls
  • Call allocated customers for orders
  • Ensure attention to detail when taking orders and inputting day of delivery and delivery run number
  • Inform customers of product shortfalls and price increases and decreases
  • Communicate with Drivers regarding problems with customer accounts
  • Inform relevant Managers of problems with customer accounts i.e. complaints, grievance, poor quality or overall service
  • Liaise with members of staff within Telesales with any information relating to their calls
  • Take messages off answer machines for 6pm deadline and 8pm deadline.
  • Work as part of a team and closely with Team Leaders
  • Carry out general administrative duties as required

  • A confident telephone manner and strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a busy team environment
  • IT skills

  • A full or part time position, Monday to Friday 12:0020:00
- £21.138 per annum (pro rata for part time)
