As our Recovery Claims Handler, you'll go the extra mile for our members.

You will be instrumental in handling a portfolio of non-fault accident management claims and are responsible for the recovery of the costs incurred.

You ensure each claim is proactively managed whilst keeping your customer updated, maintaining expectations and provide outstanding customer service with an effortless journey until the claim is successfully finalised.

Salary:
£24,000


Hours of work:
Weekly rotation of 8am - 4.30pm or 9.30am - 6pm, Monday to Friday.

This is the job:


You will be gathering evidence to support our liability decision and compose documentation, so we can pursue reimbursement of losses from the negligent parties' insurers.

You will also be required to prepare files for legal proceedings to be issued by our appointed panel of solicitors or self
- litigating portal.


What will I be doing?:


You'll be:

-
A confident communicator: You are the person to provide outstanding customer service. Drawing on your honed customer service skills, you'll be on the phone liaising with third party insurers to negotiate settlement of claims using tactics to encourage the reimbursement of costs within the quickest possible timeframe.

A stickler for detail: Attention to detail is key as you manage your own portfolio of claims and see them through to settlement, handling any disputes along the way, the goal being to settle the claims with high success.

A self-starter: You will be content working independently, as well as collaborating as part of a team, supporting them when required.


What do I need?:


You'll need:


  • Excellent customer service skills in previous roles, ideally with claims, insurance, or recovery experience but this is by no means essential.
  • To be comfortable working on a weekly rotation of 8am 4.30pm or 9.30am 6pm shifts
  • Thrives when working in a fast paced, target orientated environment.
