An exciting position for an experienced Facilities Coordinator has arisen with our long-established manufacturing client based in Sittingbourne. Our client has been established for over fifty years and operates in both UK and Europe. They have grown from strength to strength and due to business demands, are now recruiting.

*The client is very flexible, and the role can be part-time or full-time* ( happy to discuss options).

The Facilities Coordinator Role:

  • The facilities coordinator will be responsible for the daytoday delivery of head office facility services, office safety and maintenance.
  • Validate service visits, ensuring all visit reports are uploaded, and spreadsheets are updated where applicable
  • Ensure all building equipment is functioning correctly
  • Manage all daytoday issues with maintenance contracts.
  • Monitor suppliers' activity, liaising directly with contractors to resolve any issues, escalating to the Account Manager where necessary to ensure compliance is maintained,
  • Meet with contractors.
  • Ensure complaint H&S practices within the office.
  • General facilities and administration duties
  • Communicate with external and internal clients/colleagues.
  • Having previous experience within the facilities sector is desirable
  • Strong communication skills
  • Be able to prioritise and manage different tasks.
  • Must be able to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Great telephone manner, with an approachable personality
  • Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills
