Description

This position is suitable for persons with a background in the trades of at least several years and can demonstrate excellent ability in the following:

Painting & decorating.
Patchwork plastering.

- carpentry.
- plumbing.

Kitchen/bathroom fitting

- roofing.

General property maintenance

As a Multi trader at AW you can expect to undertake the following duties:

Weekly reporting to offices for briefing, collection of tools, vehicle and materials.
Being dispatched to a program scheduled of works.
Performing a range of varied maintenance tasks, ranging from general landscaping through to plumbing / carpentry and painting & decorating.

- vehicle provided to you.

Keeping progress/status of jobs entered into company issued device (smartphone/tablet).
Working alone and within a small team.

Experience/Qualifications:

Several years of experience in the trade and being able to demonstrate excellent ability in the desired areas.
Able to travel throughout east sussex in company van.
Excellent communication skills.
Can demonstrate excellent personal presentation to Aw consumers.
Self motivated, enthusiastic, approachable and a trustworthy team player.
Must have good organisation skills.
Must have excellent spoken and written English skills.
Must be friendly and have a professional attitude.
Full UK driving licence.

The role will involve carrying out repairs and maintenance to Social Housing properties, ensuring all work is undertaken to a high standard with the minimum of supervision.

You will take ownership of work aiming for a 'First time Fix' on all jobs, whilst remaining within budget and time parameters.

You will operate within company Health and Safety guidelines and remain up to date with technical and legal requirements of your skill areas.
