Description

Springcare is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant.

To be successful in this role you will have varied book-keeping experience and have a proactive approach to handling accounts, with good analytical skills and a strong attention to detail.

Key duties

Maintain purchase and sales ledger entries
Prepare and post monthly accruals, prepayments and similar accounting entries
Ensure all general ledger reconciliations are maintained monthly.
Month end payment runs
Year end preparation for our external auditors
Ensure appropriate accounting procedures are in place and financial controls are accurate

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT), Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB) or Institute of Accountants and Bookkeepers (IAB) or qualified by experience
Hard worker with the capacity to enthusiastically take on new challenges
Highly organised and comfortable in managing your own workload
High degree of accuracy, responsibility and attention to detail
A friendly and attentive team player who enjoys collaborating with others and contributing to the overall success of the organisation
Knowledge of Sage
You have a willingness to learn on the job and participate in the rapid growth of Springcare

This role offers a salary range of £23,000 - £35,000 p.a., 23 days holiday plus bank holidays pro rata, auto enrolment pension and free parking on site.
