Our client is one of the UK's leading providers of plant hire and specialist attachments to the construction industry across the UK and Ireland.

With a comprehensive fleet of innovative machinery, they pride themselves on delivering exceptional customer service and meeting their clients' project requirements.

They are seeking a highly organised and passionate individual to join their team as a
Training Coordinator.

  • Coordinate with compliance and safety functions as necessary.
  • Deliver CITB HSE Tests as required (Training provided)
  • Coordinate with external training companies including Operator Skills Hub.
  • Undertake duties in full accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Answer telephone queries
  • Coordinate training records (inhouse and external training)
  • Complete weekly training gap reports.
  • Provide support to apprenticeships throughout the programme where needed.
  • Manage NVQ booking and onboarding process.
  • Update information on the Company's database and systems
  • Book medicals, review and authenticate operators' medical certificates.
  • Co-Ordinate OH nurse to ensure that her days are utilised efficiently.
  • Review and highlight any medical issues to the Occupational Health Nurse.
  • If risk assessments are required for any personnel due to occupational health recommendations, coordinate with the safety team to aciton.
  • Send New Starter forms via text and DocuSign and follow up with operators. Ensure all forms are completed in a timely manner and recorded within the Company's database and systems.
  • Liaise with PPE suppliers and replenish PPE stock.
  • Coordination of PTS Sentinel System including Primary and Sub Sponsors
  • Issue of PTS sponsorship contracts
  • Issue training documents including all relevant rail paperwork and logbooks
  • Issue of rail specific PPE
  • Medical and D&A bookings
  • Management of working hours
  • Ad hoc duties where necessary
  • Ensure that all personal data is collected, stored, and processed in line with Data Protection Act (DPA), General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and Company policies.
  • Previous administration experience
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to liaise both verbally and in writing with employees and external parties.
  • Able to use Microsoft packages including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint effectively.
  • Ability to use own initiative in managing workload without direct supervision.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective time management skills
  • Must have an approachable and professional demeanour.
  • Display a positive "can do" attitude and have high levels of personal integrity.
  • Previous plant hire experience would be desirable but not essential.
