Newcastle upon Tyne Trust is one of the biggest teaching hospitals in the UK and teaching and learning play a major part in their status as a Centre for Excellence for Teaching.

To this end, the delivery of the training we provide to all Junior Medical Staff plays a major part in training within NUTH and is essential in the development of the future medical workforce.


We are therefore delighted to advertise this exciting and challenging opportunity for 12 month temporary/secondment Band 6 Postgraduate Quality lead within The Medical Education Administrative Team.

This is a new and exciting post, which has developed due to the increased senior level workload required to support the implementation of multiple curriculum changes and ever-expanding workforce needs.

You will work with a broad range of clinical and operational staff across Newcastle Hospitals and HEENE.

You should be an experienced and motivated administrator who has an innovative and challenge seeking attitude to problem solving. You will be the lead administrator for the provision and management of the Postgraduate quality process within Newcastle Hospitals.


Previous experience and knowledge of the NHS and its current issues would be an advantage as well as experience of working within a training/educational support role.
