As a Barclays Associate Director within the Fintech team, you will sit within the International Corporate Banking function, and assist Senior Relationship Directors (RDs) in managing a portfolio of Institutional Clients, which are classified as Non-Bank Payment Service Providers.
This includes card and payment networks, issuers and acquirers, cross border money remitters and FX brokers and other equivalent businesses.

What will you be doing?:
- Focusing on some of the fastest growth, complex and strategically important customer relationships through providing excellent service
- Assisting the senior Relationship Directors to establish methodical and robust deal teams, and ensuring strength of direction, momentum, and implementation of projects
- Leading and managing the initial inflow of new to bank clients through a set process in place, including initial contact with prospective clients
- Assessing clients against business standards and taking responsibility of presenting the cases to industry risk forum with recommendations
- Seeking, exchanging, and embedding best practice both regionally and nationally for the full Fintech global franchise
- Assisting the Relationship Directors to undertake Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) on high risk clients within portfolio
- Working as a cohesive team with the EDD managers carrying out the reviews
What we're looking for:
- Experience of a handling client management and/or coverage role with exposure to complex clients and ability to handle such relationships with confidence
- Good knowledge of corporate banking products and services including those linked to cash management and FX solutions being particularly relevant to the role
Skills that will help you in the role:
- Experience of handling management of complex client relationships
- Broad knowledge of Fintech marketplace
- Experience of dealing with High Risk client sectors
- Knowledge of Transactional Banking products
