Manufacturing Engineer

Ideal Location:

_Wigan, Bolton, St Helens, Manchester, Warrington, Liverpool, Chorley, Oldham, Runcorn, Bury, Stretford, Oldham, Runcorn, Bury, Stretford, Rochdale, Stockport, Northwich, Blackburn, Preston_

Circa £38,000 depending upon experience + corporate and health and safety bonus + excellent pension + life assurance + westfield health + 25 days holiday

The role

Review current
manufacturing processes and products and look for areas to improve existing practices based on the analysis of relevant
KPI's.
Support production and quality departments in identifying potential problems using
root cause analysis

Create
project proposals for
new machinery and
processesfor the approval.
Provide
technical support to the manufacturing cells when required.
Prepare and support documentation for
process control and
audits including
SOP's,
FMEA,
Risk Assessments

Support the research and development team in the
industrialisation of new product designs by optimizing machinery and processes.
Previous, successful tenure in a
Manufacturing Engineer or Process Engineer roleand/or a
Product Industrialisationrole.

Project Management experience is desirable, ideally Prince -
PLCexperience is also desirable.
