Description

Working closely with our Partners & Suppliers and cross functionally with Commercial, New Product Development and Marketing teams the Product Segment Manager - Sweet Pastry is pivotal in helping us managing our traded supplier & partner relationships aswell as our customers and consumers.

Building excellent relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and the wider Lantmannen Group are key.


You have:


  • Demonstrable experience of managing commercial relationships with both traded suppliers & partners


  • Excellent computer skills

  • Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook are important
  • Strong knowledge of category management processes, tools and ways of working
  • Ability to work with product costing models and margin analysis

You will be great at:


  • Driving volume, net sales and profitability of category in line with strategic goals, in order to create long term value within the Sweet Pastry market
  • Evaluate and report on the Sweet Pastry category performance on a monthly basis and make appropriate recommendations / take corrective actions
  • Working in close cooperation with internal teams to ensure we create and execute market leading innovation programmes on both a strategic and customer specific basis
  • Working cross functionally with other key functions to ensure activity is grounded in strong insight based rationales and executed profitably throughout the business
  • Deliver monthly reports and regular market updates and provide ad hoc insights and support to business functions/teams

  • A flexible approach and the ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams as well as the ability to work independently
