The role

If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you as Head of Regulatory Content at FundApps

In this role, you'll be responsible for leading a team that reviews and analyses financial regulations and translates them into software solutions across our global client base, providing expert guidance on compliance regulations in 100+ jurisdictions.

You'll work directly with Allen & Overy, FIATech and other market partners, and the engineering team to enhance the functionality and scope of our rules engine.

As Head of Regulatory Content reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you'll be responsible for managing the team, setting goals and objectives, and providing ongoing training and development opportunities.

You'll also be expected to have a strategic outlook, with the ability to identify new regulatory developments and opportunities to commercialise new regulatory products.

This is a hands-on role that requires initiative and a willingness to "roll up your sleeves" and potentially code rules directly into our system, as well as drive strategic initiatives and long-term planning.

What you'll be working on:

Leading the regulatory content team at FundApps, responsible for the creation, maintenance, and distribution of regulatory content to clients
Ensuring that all regulatory content produced by the team is accurate, uptodate, and compliant with relevant laws and regulations
Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including client services, engineering, product, and sales teams, to identify and prioritise new regulatory content requirements
Developing and implementing processes for the creation, review, and approval of regulatory content
Providing guidance and support to the regulatory content team to ensure that we are meeting the needs of our clients
Managing the regulatory content team, including setting goals and objectives, managing team performance, and providing ongoing training and development opportunities
Supporting the sales and marketing efforts of the company, including participating in sales and client meetings, creating marketing materials and collateral, and engaging with industry events and conferences
Developing and maintaining relationships with relevant regulatory bodies and industry groups to stay uptodate on regulatory developments and best practices

What you'll bring to the team:

Extensive experience in financial compliance or working in a related domain e.g. Regtech and a broad understanding of regulatory responsibilities
Experience managing a team, including setting goals, managing performance, and providing ongoing development and support
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external partners
A strategic outlook with commercial awareness, able to identify and assess the impact of regulatory changes on both our and client's business
