Brookland Estates are a growing property investment business based in Middlesbrough. We buy, renovate and manage properties on behalf of our clients.


The role includes:

Lettings Negotiator
The Lettings Negotiator is responsible for letting properties as quickly as possible to the best tenants


Responsibilities include:

Advertising & On-boarding properties

  • Collecting keys to do the Initial visits to onboard properties to get meter readings / inventory pictures
  • Visiting a property to get the "Marketing Material" (video / pictures) and uploading them to the relevant advertising portal
  • Selecting suitable tenants, scheduling and carrying out viewings
  • Gathering feedback and presenting offers to landlord
  • Arranging holding deposit payments and issuing documentation in line with legislation
  • Referencing tenants
  • Arranging rent and bond payments
  • Registering tenancy deposits and issuing documentation in line with legislation
  • Issuing AST's for signing using our CRM system with all compliance documentation in line with legislation
  • Renewals of tenancies

Other Responsibilities

  • Creating inventories
  • Arrnaging / carrying out Moveins
  • Carrying out the periodic inspection process
  • Using our softwares and processes to carry out responsibilities
  • Liasing with landlords
  • Communicating with the team to ensure KPI's and targets are met

Lettings Negotiator KPI's and targets
The lettings consultants KPI and targets are around letting properties fast to the best tenants.

The aim is to get AST's signed within 5 working days after going onto the market and no later than 12.

KPI's will include speed of getting properties onto the market, efficiency of viewings, number of days to get contracts signed, arrears and tenancy renewal success rates.

£18,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
