Chartered Building Surveyor

Leeds

£40,000 - £60,000

Responsibilities:


  • Conduct building surveys and produce reports on condition, defects, and repairs required
  • Prepare and manage project specifications, tender documents, and contract administration
  • Oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, timelines, and budgets are met
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and other professionals involved in the construction process
  • Provide expert advice on building regulations, planning laws, and health and safety requirements
  • Carry out valuations of properties and provide advice on property purchases and sales

Requirements:


  • Chartered Building Surveyor status with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS)
  • More than 2 years of experience working on projects up to 5 million pounds
  • Strong knowledge of building construction and maintenance, including relevant regulations and laws
  • Excellent project management and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs
  • Full UK driving license and access to own vehicle

Salary:
£40,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
