Engineering Workshop Assistant


Duties:

• Preparing machined components ready for surface finishes vapour blasting, rinsing, drying and masking.
• Assembling mechanical comonents.
• Assembling electronic components soldering switches and circuit boards.

• General duties

• Sorting incoming deliveries preparing goods ready to deliver.

Skills:

• Some previous experience in a mechanical engineering workshop would be an advantage.
• Ability to understand basic 2D drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work.

Job Types:
Part-time, Temporary contract

Contract length: 3 months

Part-time hours: 16 per week


Salary:
£11.00 per hour


Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
