Major Players are looking for a Product Manager with an innovative and entrepreneurial drive to join the Product team in their London office.


It's an exciting time to join the Product team as they continue to expand: this is a chance for a budding Product Manager who wants to own one of their products, shape its direction and drive the next phase of their product strategy.


If that's you, you'll be working closely with their clients to gain an in-depth understanding of their needs and anticipated problems, and you'll be someone who is a true innovator and problem solver with a continuous curiosity and imagination for new waysof understanding audiences and human behaviour at scale.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • This will be a hybrid role, so requires an individual who has experience in UX design as well as project management experience, as you will be overseeing multiple projects at the same time from conception to launch.
  • You will create and manage the product backlog and define the overall Product Roadmap as well as work closely with the Head of Product to build a clear Product Strategy.
  • Responsible for managing the delivery of all features and or products, which are planned for development.
  • Generate product requirements and user experience specifications, working closely with the design and engineering teams.
  • Define tasks and responsibilities with the engineering team and decide how to execute your vision.
  • This means you'll be able to clearly define the development scope, discuss requirements with the development team and provide business context, as well as be comfortable with making feature and design tradeoffs.
  • Carry quality assurance and escalate issues where necessary.
  • Support the engineering team, ensuring they have what they need at each stage of the development life cycle.
  • Put together launch plans and schedule Production deploys or Beta trials of new features or products, liaising with Marketing, Commercial and Product Support.
  • Provide regular status updates to stakeholders, ensuring that communication and training is given to all appropriate functions of the business.
  • Carry out product research and competitor analysis to assess market competition.
  • Collect client feedback, assess usage analytics, and prioritise customer requirements based on real data.
  • Define and analyse metrics that inform the success of products.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

  • The role requires someone with at least 3 years Product Management experience in delivering highly successful and innovative products.
  • Must have a strong technical background plus some knowledge & understanding of different frontend and backend technologies.
  • Experience of working within an Agile or Waterfall environment, plus an understanding of process improvement methodologies.
  • Must be passionate about all things related to product development, in particular user experience and user interface design.
  • Radical thinker, who is able to execute and envision the future of the product with the ability to articulate a clear path on how to get there.
  • Strong organisational skills as you'll be working and delivering multiple projects.
  • Have the ability to maintain focus on specific goals and product initiatives.
  • Must be bold and pragmatic, knows when it's necessary to kill a feature or turn down requests from commercial, and is able to make tough decisions on client feedback.
  • Be able to work with and manage an offshore engineering team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and must be able to deal with difficult stakeholders.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and multitask.
  • Involved, passionate, connected and possess a collaborative spirit.
  • Must understand API technologies and integrations, and have some knowledge of SaaS hosting and infrastructure requirements.
  • Some knowledge of graph databases, machine learning technologies or a data science background will be a bonus.
