An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 8a physiotherapist working in a split role in the Oldham MSK team supporting delivery of the ICATS service and as a first contact practitioner.

We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic and forward-thinking clinician. An excellent communicator, you will be a passionate advocate for your patients and demonstrate enthusiasm for your profession. As an autonomous practitioner you will need to be self-motivated, well organised and work well under pressure.

Peer support is provided from within the MSK team, as well as from advanced practice colleagues that work in the service.

You will also support across the MSK Service.


This is an ideal opportunity for an existing 8a or an experienced MSK band 7 looking to progress their clinical career.

Successful applicants will have advanced clinical practice skills, significant experience of working in musculoskeletal specialties and excellent leadership skills.

A master's level qualification, in particular Injection Therapy and Non-medical Prescribing, would be advantageous, support can be provided to gain this.
