The role
As a Supply Control and Accounting Section Senior Supervisor, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. More production within compliance requirement of MAA (Material account audit) to ensure the team has the required guidance, this role mentor and manage the existing team


Day to day,

  • Act as the Stocktaking Stock Control Officer (SCO), managing all aspects of the Unit Stocktaking Programme and Reporting, and Hold and maintain the Unit Losses Register, raise, and manage Loss Case Files and produce Loss reports to higher authorities. Produce COGNOS monthly and ad hoc reports
  • Manage ammunition and explosives demands and accounting processes including producing the annual CASP.
  • Manage Continual Improvement to ensure SCAS work processes remain fully compliant with policy and Manage HO/TO of RAF Northolt Material Account Owners/Holders
  • Act as Prime UAA, managing the F5388A MJDI Account and Users and Supervise the 3 x Suppliers within SCAS and manage the Supply Admin Registry and Archive
  • Manage MJDI Compfail Fallback procedures, train users, and oversee the use of MJDI HHD's within Supply.

Essential experience of the Supply Control and Accounting Section Senior Supervisor

  • Management of the Deployable Inventory (MJDI) Materiel Accountant qualified and Ability to become Management of the Deployable Inventory (MJDI) COGNOS qualified
  • Experience of staff supervision
  • The individual to have current/recent RAF Supply at minimum of SNCO level (or experienced Cpl with positive promotion recommendation) and be TG18 or MOD trained
  • Desirable
  • Good knowledge of MS office products. Familiarity with Tri Service and/or MOD practices and procedures.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
This role is full time and is based on site at RAF Northolt
