Main duties of the job
To provide our Trauma Orthopaedic patients with a safe level of high quality care. To request bloods, to perform venepuncture, cannulation and ECG. To escort patients to and from designated departments i.e. theatre. To help support the trauma coordinator and Trauma Nurse Practitioner on the wards and clinic
Working for our organisation
Full time position providing a 7 day and weekend service flexible working
The team consists of trauma coordinator/ trauma nurse practitioner team leader, 1 x trauma coordinator 8 x Trauma Nurse Practitioner 3 x trauma assistants.
To contribute to the improvement of patient care and services in the Trauma Orthopaedic department by providing treatment to patients and to act as a support to the trauma co-ordinator and trauma nurse practitioners.
qualifications
Essential criteria
- GCSE English grade C or equivilant
Desirable criteria
- NVQ level 2 or
- NVQ assessors qualification

Salary:
The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.

The system will run a check against the key security features within your documentation.The system will provide us with an outcome of your check which will be stored securely on your personal file along with all other pre-employment check documentation.
