Butler Rose, public practice is delighted to be supporting our client, a prestigious Central London firm of accountants' firm that are now eager to appoint a skilled and experienced Audit Semi Senior to complement their existing Audit team.

Role Requirements

  • Reporting directly to, and working closely with the audit managers and partners on various work, including audits, accounts preparations and management accounts.

Audit:
Responsible for the planning and completion of audit assignments, whilst ensuring audit files have appropriate and?sufficient?documentation.
Planning the execution and finalisation of the audit assignments for Partner/Manager review.

Sometimes be expected to lead, manage, motivate, and coach other members of the team and review work completed by juniors and provide feedback as appropriate.

To act as the main point of contact with the client throughout the assignment, responding to their needs and managing their expectations.

Research accounting or tax issues as and when required, and document the research with references.

Person Requirements:
Part ACA or ACCA qualified (preferable)
At least 1+ years' experience in a similar Assistant / Senior capacity in an audit focussed role.
Knowledge of Sage, Xero, Quickbooks and CCH including Accounts Production and Audit Automation useful but not essential.
