Train Driver Assessor/Trainer

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Train Driver Assessor/Trainer to join a tier one contractor

The main purpose of the Train Driver Assessor/Trainer is to manage ERTMS safety critical training and competency within Rail Services.

Key responsibilities for this Train Driver Assessor/Trainer role:

Responsible to the senior freight trainer assessor for ensuring effective implementation of railway group standards and industry codes of practice around the implementation of ERTMS,

- strategies and policies significant to the safe operation of all freight.
- freight equipment owned by third parties and operated under contract.

Responsible for assisting in maintaining the integrity of ROG compliance.
Implement and manage training and competency assessment regime, including risk management and safety performance monitoring.

Experience required for this Train Driver Assessor/Trainer role:

Be a widely experienced railway person with an excellent knowledge of freight operation.
Have comprehensive knowledge in rail industry standards
Hold Trainer, Assessor Qualifications.
Be willing to undertake further training as the post dictates.
Have excellent communication skills and organisational ability.
Have excellent IT skills. Experience in administration organisation.
Hold UK driving licence.
