Job Role:
Senior Linux Developer

Location:
Sunbury, UK

Duration: 6+Months Contract (Inside IR35)

Experience:8-10 Years

Key Skills/Knowledge:


  • Able to develop and maintain complex bash shell, Bourne Shell scripts.
  • Very Conversant Unix tools like vi, awk, sed, yum, wget, gzip, grep.
  • Good knowledge of various other day to day Linux commands.
  • Good knowledge on any one Linux based configuration management tools such as Ansible, CE Engine, Chef, Puppet, or any other tool.
  • Good Understanding of Linux Security, Authentication, and permissions.
  • Good OS troubleshooting skills.
  • Conversant with Red Hat, Ubuntu flavors
  • Troubleshoot logs in Linux and failures in the scripts.

Job Type:
Temporary contract

Contract length: 6 months


Salary:
From £500.00 per day


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • SunburyonThames, Surrey: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Scripting development: 5 years (preferred)
Linux Administrator: 6 years (preferred)
- bash scripting: 6 years (preferred)
