Who are we?


We are Worldwide Flight Services, WFS for short - proud Ground Handling Partner of easyJet here at Edinburgh Airport since 2018.

We handle all easyJet services, flying to over 40 destinations from Scotland's capital.

From serving guests through bag drop & boarding to handling their baggage and ensuring a safe, professional operation around the aircraft.


As a Ramp Agent you will provide assistance to the aircraft, its passengers and crew in the ramp area, using the tools provided.

You will be expected to follow the procedures and safety measures established by the company for the different activities, with an objective of ensuring that every flight departs on time, without any safety risks for the aircraft, its crew, passengers, baggage and cargo, the airport workers, and the equipment and facilities.


We offer an hourly rate of £12.10 (annual pay review pending) along with opportunities to progress your career with a global business.


Note this role is for a 37.5 hour per week contract worked on a shift basis of 6 days on, 3 days off.

Driving license is mandatory.

**Your main responsibilities on a day to day basis will be:
-**:


  • Maintaining the highest standards of safety and security at all times
  • Using ground equipment such as belt loaders, aircraft steps and power units
  • Loading & Unloading of passenger baggage
  • Aircraft pushback and towing aircraft to different parts of the airport
  • Performing aircraft cleaning activities such as cabin cleaning, waste removal, potable water and toilet services
  • Fuelling, light maintenance and cleaning of the ground support equipment (GSE) and any other vehicles
  • Transporting baggage & cargo to and from the aircraft
  • Sorting baggage to ensure it goes to the correct flight
  • Reporting any incidence related to the safety involving passengers, crew, staff, aircraft, baggage, cargo, facilities and equipment, quality of the service, airport security, health & safety and environment
  • Proposing any action to improve the activity performance
  • Ensuring the segregation and recycling of all materials used and residues
  • Performing all the tasks described according the company requirements, training received and airport regulations

  • This is not your normal 9 till 5 job. You will be required to do early and late shifts, including weekends so flexibility in working hours is critical
