Our client is looking for a Senior Learning Partner on a contract basis, located in Aberdeen.


ROLE


As part of the Talent & Learning team, the Senior L&D Partner will provide people development support, up to leadership level, utilising a range of learning and development skills and tools.

The Senior Learning Partner will take the lead in developing and delivering appropriate learning activities, systems, and processes to support people to work to their potential within their role and provide the business with a strong pipeline of talent to progress up through the organisation.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyse learning needs across the global business
  • Design and deliver interactive and engaging learning and development activities, utilising all available delivery methods (MS Teams, Face2Face, eLearning)
  • Work in partnership with Global business managers and HR Business Partners to ensure learning activities are fit for purpose across all business areas and successfully embedded
  • Coach individuals and teams to enhance their performance
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of L&D activities and implement improvements when required
  • Collate and communicate recurring themes emerging from training delivery sessions to inform improvements in organisational effectiveness
  • Provide input to the T&L strategy and assist in promoting approved strategies, plans and activities to employees
  • Support successful delivery of Talent and Learning projects, researching appropriate solutions, and monitoring plans to keep approved activities on track
  • Contribute collaboratively to crossfunctional HR projects, as required, to support collective delivery of the Global HR Strategy
  • Collect and analyse meaningful data in line with agreed Learning & Development performance metrics
  • Support delivery of learning interventions within Talent schemes at multiple organisational levels
  • Work in partnership with external providers to design and deliver leadership development programmes
  • Champion the Learning & Development portfolio via multiple communication channels
  • Record and report on measures of success to ensure desired outcomes are being achieved
  • Any other duties consistent with your status

REQUIREMENTS

  • Learning professional with relevant training accreditation and/or CIPD accreditation to level
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience from working at an operational level in Learning & Development
  • Demonstrable experience of implementing continuous improvement activities and supporting organisational change
  • High level training, facilitation, and presentation skills up executive level
  • Able to demonstrate continuing personal and professional development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Crosscultural agility to interact with diverse nationalities and cultures
  • Consultative and collaborative working style
  • A reputation for delivering excellent customer service
  • Good organisational skills, SMART working methods and can demonstrate personal effectiveness in previous roles
  • A coaching or mentoring accreditation is desirable
