Field Agent (Checkout Inspections and Deposit Returns Agent)

Glasgow - Salary Guide: £20,000 to £23,000


Our client is looking for a confident Team Player, ideally with at least one years' experience in a similar property role.

Driving licence is a MUST


The role


To carry out checkout inspections, compile the report for landlord and tenant, liaise between all parties to finalise the deposit return.

Manage maintenance preparations (garner quotes, instruct jobs) at the end of a tenancy and before re-advertising/re-letting (Property Ready).


Provide back-up support to Viewings and Property Inspection Agent with ad hoc property inspections/visits throughout the tenancy and conduct viewings for properties available to let.

Take marketing photos and video footage of properties to be advertised and compile virtual tours.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Conducting Checkout Inspections (using Property Inspection app on iPhone)
  • Compiling reports for the Property Manager, Landlord and Tenant based on the inspection
  • Liaising between landlord and tenant to finalise the deposit return
  • Garnering quotes required to support deposit deductions and for Property Ready
  • General daily administrative duties including updating necessary spreadsheets, filling etc.
  • Preparing marketing materials (photos and virtual tours)
  • Carry out Rent Visits as required by Property Managers
  • General field work as required (e.g. key cutting, electricity topups etc).
  • Carrying out viewings in a professional, friendly and efficient manner, ensuring all relevant information is correctly relayed to viewers
  • Providing viewings feedback to the PM/Landlord
  • Carrying out Routine Property Inspections as required, and compiling the reports with feedback for landlords and tenants
  • Providing office support in answering phone calls, dealing with enquiries, taking payments and arranging appointments
  • Providing support to Property Managers as required throughout the above
You must have
a full, clean UK driving licence and confident and courteous driving skills/manner.


You may be required to use your own car to carry out your duties and the mileage will be paid for by the Company.

As well as the above, it is of utmost importance that the following are carried out as a part of the role:

  • Updating the system (SME) on a daily basis to monitor and maintain property records
  • Ensuring that the company policies are upheld at all times whilst carrying out your duties
  • Promoting company mission and philosophy to all prospective and current landlords and tenants
  • Building up strong relationships with all parties to gain trust and to keep the reputation of the company as the best in the local area
  • Ensuring compliance with ARLA and company code of conduct at all times.

Hours:
Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm
