Due to our recent growth, we're now looking at hiring a Compliance Officer to join our team of professional Insurance Brokers.

Day in the life of a Compliance Officer

  • Taking full responsibility in managing and promoting company policies and procedures.
  • Conducting internal audits and examining processes to ensure full compliance is being adhered.
  • Regulatory reporting to the FCA
  • Reviewing files and ensuring all compliance files are up to to regulation standard.
  • Provide direct support, guidance and advice to the wider business on compliance matters including FCA and ICO regulations.
  • Investigating any compliance issues.
  • Holding reviews and meetings with brokers and directors to address any concerns they may have around compliance.
  • Leading the continued professional development of all employees.
  • Interviewing current brokers to ensure employees are compliant with regulations.
  • Managing a team of QA's to ensure compliance is followed across all points of sale.

What we're looking for in our compliance officer?

  • Previous experience working in a similar role within the protection industry, i.e., Life Insurance, Mortgage protection.
  • Solid understanding of FCA regulations around Insurance is necessary.
  • Management experienced welcomed
  • Insurance qualifications would be desirable but not necessary
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Strong understanding of the Insurance market
