Are you an experienced claims consultant looking for a significant new challenge? Come and join Marsh's Claims Preparation Team in London and help lead the exciting BI - Pre Loss Practice into its next phase.

We are looking for a client focused BI expert who can deliver precise, quality pre loss risk assessments and recommendations whilst delivering commercial success.

You will lead by example and enjoy developing colleagues to deliver vital pre loss projects.


What can you expect?

  • The support and autonomy to drive the BI Pre-Loss Practice onto its next phase and deliver significant commercial success whilst providing superb client experiences.
  • Impactful delivery of BI risk assessment / quantification projects to ensure clients are able to make informed decisions in their BI insurance procurement process.
  • To offer BI advice to support clients in the evaluation of their BI exposure, comprising of a report and workbook that is suitable for use by clients and with insurance markets.
  • To prepare deliverables around Financial Analysis, Operations analysis Procurement analysis and IT analysis
  • The opportunity to develop strong relationships across Marsh and with external clients, which will drive the success of the Practice.

We will rely on you to:

  • Be an integral member of our team and use your skills and experience to deliver for our clients and improve us collectively.
  • Identify and develop opportunities for revenue generation from new and existing client relationships.
  • Support the sales process, where appropriate.
  • Promote the BI product suite developed to date to internally and externally to raise awareness of the Marsh BI product suite, pricing structure and payee options.
  • Support the production of BI marketing collateral and thought leadership articles.
  • Refer follow on opportunities that arise from the BI Review work risk to other specialisms of Marsh Advisory e.g., Resilience, Cyber, ERM, ESG.
  • Demonstrate commitment to continuous personal development and secure recognised professional qualifications where not already attained.

What you need to have:


  • Strong understanding of the commercial BI insurance market and processes.
  • A strong focus on client experience, marrying effective delivery with customer priorities
  • Project Management experience and effective collaboration be a good team mate.
  • Qualified or part qualified in ACII, ACILA or similar insurance qualification, IRM, BCI or ACII, ACILA or similar insurance qualification or ACA or other accounting qualification (ACCA / ACMA / CPA)

What makes you stand out:


  • Experience of delivering BI Reviews is preferable, but consideration will be given to those with consulting and/or postloss BI claims experience.
  • Ability to think and act as a consultant to deliver strategic risk benefits to clients and to lead and encourage colleagues to do likewise.
  • Ability to work toward and meet targets set by the business, in order to support clients and drive profitability.
  • Ability to write and deliver compelling project output deliverables with strong recommendations and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • You produce strong technical work and manage all stakeholders with finesse, empathy and kindness.
