Gap Personnel Southend:

Are you a skilled CNC Setter/Operator with a passion for milling? Are you seeking a full-time position with flexible working hours? Look no further We have an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join our clients team as a CNC Setter/Operator (Milling).

Hours: 39 per week Mon - Thur Fri Potential for night shifts too)

Responsibilities:


  • Accountable for setting up and operating the manufacturing of various smallbatch components based on engineering drawings and within precise specifications.
  • Accountable for completing the manufacturing of all components within the agreedupon deadlines.
  • Accountable for configuring a range of CNC machine tools for operators as needed.
  • Accountable for utilizing an extensive array of measuring equipment to inspect smallbatch components postproduction.
  • Accountable for mentoring new team members when necessary.
  • Accountable for consistently maintaining the agreedupon quality standards.
  • Accountable for ensuring proper protection of manufactured products for shipping.
  • Accountable for adhering to the manufacturing plan sequence at all times.
  • Accountable for accurately completing all manufacturing documentation.
  • Accountable for executing all tasks assigned by the Team Leader promptly and efficiently.
  • Accountable for upholding high standards of cleanliness and organization at all times.

Requirements:


  • Demonstrated proficiency with a extensive CNC Milling experience.
  • Competent in interpreting engineering drawings, configuring CNC Milling machines, and use of measuring instruments.
  • Proficient in operating Mazak CNC Machining Centers is an advantage.
  • Adept at working with both Metric and Imperial measurements.
  • Skilled in computer usage and exhibits a methodical approach.
  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Effective at handling tasks under pressure and meeting deadlines.
