An opportunity has arisen for a Lead Admin Officer to support the Child Health Team, which is based at Cameron Hospital, Windygates, however the ability to work across multiple sites would be beneficial.
A core function of this role will be to lead the implementation and delivery of Child Health systems and programmes as per local and national directives, as well as representing Fife and actively participating at various national and local level user groups, sub-groups and meetings.
You should have some knowledge of child health systems, or a keen desire to undertake intensive training around these, there are four live National Systems; Community Child Health Index [CHI]; Child Health Surveillance (Pre-School); Child Health Surveillance (School); Scottish Immunisation Recall System.
You are also expected to have excellent IT and admin skills and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
You will be expected to have excellent organisational and communication skills, be able to work as part of a team as well as use your own initiative.
There is an expectation that you will also provide comprehensive administrative input, undertaking a supervisory and supportive role to the child health team, assisting the Admin Support Manager with some key aspects of child health function, as well as supporting other managers as required.
This post is permanent, and the hours are worked Monday to Friday.
