As a Workshop Support Operative you will be responsible for;

  • Assisting workshop with driving duties from depots
  • Assisting Access engineers in the effective maintenance by carrying out jet washing of machines
  • Occasionally supporting the transport department by carrying out driving duties
  • Liaising with Workshop Supervisor and engineers to determine priority of waste deposal as required i.e. waste oil, scrap metal, emptying of wheelie bins and disposal of contaminated waste
  • Working alongside Workshop Engineers assisting in general workshop repairs and maintenance
  • All meter readings taken and workshop office informed
  • Liaising with workshop admin team on the requirements for diesel required to be ordered ensuring that fuel is ordered in a timely mano

As a Workshop Support Operative you will demonstrate;

  • Class 2 Driving Licence
  • A Forklift and IPAF operator's licence
  • Knowledge of environmental and waste management is essential
  • A flexible approach is essential
  • A Current and valid driving licence ( Not essential )
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices is critical

As a Workshop Support Operative you will command;

  • Monday
  • Friday 8:00 17:00
  • Salary £24,755pa
