We are looking for an experienced and motivated Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant team at a very good school in
Wakefield.

We are looking for someone with excellent organisational and communication skills and who has a passion for helping children to succeed.

This role is an immediate start, which could become permanent.


Responsibilities:


  • Assisting teachers in the classroom with the delivery of lessons
  • Helping to create a stimulating and encouraging learning environment
  • Assisting pupils with any difficulties they may have with their work
  • Supervising and monitoring pupils both in and out of the classroom
  • Encouraging pupils to take responsibility for their own learning
  • Helping to set up and deliver projects and activities in line with the school's curriculum
  • Helping pupils to develop social skills
  • Keeping records of pupils' progress and behaviour

Requirements:


  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant
  • Good organisational skills
  • A passion for helping children to achieve their full potential
  • A commitment to supporting the school and its ethos
  • Patience and understanding
