Job Purpose:

Support the full Corporate Affairs team across all disciplines, helping to execute key programs and initiatives. Coordinator role also serves as team assistant, supporting administrative tasks for function head and team members.

The coordinator role is an exciting entry-level Corporate Affairs role for an aspiring Communications/Corporate Affairs professional to begin building his or her career by gaining experience across the entire Corporate Affairs spectrum in a dynamic and fast-moving industry and with a team of highly proficient professionals who are committed to mentoring and supporting emerging talent.


Responsibilities:


  • Support all members of the Corporate Affairs team with implementation of key programs and initiatives, as directed by team leads (Functional Head, Internal Communications, Corporate Communications, Franchise Corporate Affairs, Patient Advocacy).
  • Provide event support and logistics for internal events, including managing production vendors, writing, and sending out invitations, managing internal approval of content, helping develop content, supporting followup surveys and feedback, developing event results/assessments.
  • Become a goto publisher of all digital content on internal Intranet and external websites: become proficient with Intranet publishing platform, using all tools and features; bring innovative new ideas to digital tools; educate other publishers on how to maximise Intranet capabilities; seek new approaches and processes to use of Intranet platform.
  • Help develop internal and external communications content, including but not limited to newsletters, Intranet articles, Town Hall slides, company videos, podcasts, executive communications, press releases, company presentations and fact sheets, etc.
  • Support the team's mission of excellence in communications by proofreading and/or editing materials before distribution, to prevent typos, unclear communications, inconsistent messaging.
  • Provide administrative support to SVP, Corporate Affairs, including diary management, scheduling meetings, supporting admin aspects of EC role and meetings, managing all travel, keeping track of team budget, and supporting monthly finance meetings to manage budget.
  • Provide administrative support to full team including scheduling large meetings, opening purchase orders, and supporting team budget management, managing Veeva for full team including opening and progressing job bags, liaising with agency partners, managing external partner contracts.
  • Help manage the editorial calendar for content across the team. Ensure team is aware of and contributing to the calendar and all content is maximised across channels.
  • Manage press release distribution via newswire, corporate websites and other channels as required.
  • Support logistics for Patient Council, working with Patient Advocacy Lead; including contract management, meeting logistics, content development and approvals, event followup
  • Support Corporate Affairs Franchise lead with implementation of key programs, including data/launch/reimbursement milestone press releases, communications campaigns, etc.
  • Support ongoing management of social media platforms, including writing content, gaining necessary approvals, posting content, and managing channel effectiveness, monitoring metrics, and suggesting improvements to process and approach, making suggestions for ways to innovate social media approach.
  • Support functional and franchise teams, DE&I network, and sustainability network with internal communications activities to raise awareness of their priorities and achievements
  • Bring innovative ideas and solutions to the region, grounded in external insights, and needs and aligned to business priorities and company culture; stay up to date on latest innovative ideas and approaches in Corporate Affairs, internal communications, and healthcare/pharmaceuticals to ensure a competitive approach that meets stakeholder needs.
  • Represent the Corporate Affairs function internally and externally, helping to ensure understanding and support of functional strategy and action plan.
  • Collate metrics for all programs and manage Action Plan reporting on a quarterly basis.
