Technical Advisor

At Saint-Gobain Interior Solutions, based from our Head Office in East Leake, we are looking for a Technical Advisor to work in our Technical Support Team

This team are focused on continual learning, with a variety of programmes in place to support your professional development. If progression is important to you, you'll have every opportunity to do that here.

The role is office-based with the opportunity to work from home (on a hybrid basis).


What you will be doing:


You'll be the technical expert providing market leading technical advice to all customer types, including DIYers, specifiers, architects, merchants, contractors and internal staff, prioritising incoming enquiries.

You'll ensure all advice is delivered tothe highest standards and in line with company procedures

  • Act as first line support for technical project enquiries from a variety of customers
  • Undertake all relevant training to become a product and system expert in the areas of fire design, structures, acoustics, thermal performance, and sustainability

What we're looking for:


  • It would be highly advantageous if you had some sort of construction background, or technical related experience relating to construction
  • Customer service experience, or the ability to deal professionally with a volume of customer queries, both verbal and written
  • Experience in an environment where things are constantly happening, fast paced and on the go
  • A genuine interest in continual development and learning, due to the importance of keeping knowledge levels up to date with our product range, regulations and industry standards
