Production Planner - Malton, North Yorkshire
Pro-Pak Foods is a major supplier of delicious ready meals to many of the UK's leading supermarkets and convenience stores.
As one of our Production Planners, you will support the planning team here at Pro-Pak to ensure production plans fit within factory capacities.
Key Accountabilities:
- Working with a range of internal and external stakeholders
- Gaining an understanding of all processes on site to enable efficient planning
- Scheduling daily work streams to deliver an achievable plan
- Issuing daily, weekly and monthly production plans
- Proactively managing stocks and liaising with the relevant departments to resolve any issues
- Working with other departments to plan and successfully launch new product lines
- Communicating with production employees, to ensure timely completion and dispatch of products
- Investigating any problems that arise during production and finding solutions
- Planning production schedules to meet business plans and achieve KPI's.

Skills & experience required:
- Intermediatetoadvanced MS Excel knowledge (and a willingness to learn new IT systems)
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent problemsolving skills, with the ability to make quick decisions
- Food production/FMCG planning and production control experience desirable
- Reporting and analysis.
