The University of Cambridge is committed to promoting and supporting the development of an Open Research culture, linking researchers and the wider community through shared knowledge to accelerate the pursuit of knowledge and foster international collaboration.


Cambridge University Libraries (CUL) play a leadership role in this area, partnering with researchers and other parts of the University's professional services to ensure that the right systems and services are in place to support open research practices.

The Open Research Administrator reports to the Open Research Community Manager within the Cambridge University Libraries (CUL) Office of Scholarly Communication.

They work collaboratively with other members of staff across Cambridge University Libraries.


They provide administrative support to the Open Research Programme and to related areas of research services, including supporting committees and working groups, coordinating communications and ensuring that administrative tasks are completed efficiently and effectively to facilitate the smooth running of the programme.

This post is offered on a permanent full-time basis.

Interviews are expected to be held week commencing 13 February 2023.
