Up to £35K DOE

We are currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join a leading accountancy practice based in Hertford.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual to join a dynamic team and make a real impact in a growing business.

Benefits:

Responsibilities:

Maintaining accurate financial records and preparing accounts up to trial balance for a portfolio of clients
Performing bank reconciliations and processing payments
Producing and submitting VAT returns
Liaising with clients to resolve queries and provide financial advice
Occasionally supporting the team with payroll
Using accounting software's such as Xero & Quickbooks

Requirements:

At least 3 years' experience working in a UK accountancy practice environment
Proficient in softwares such as Iris, Xero, Quickbooks etc
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients
A strong attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines
Accounting qualifications are desirable but not essential
