MACHINE OPERATIVES - AVONMOUTH


Our client based in Avonmouth is looking for individuals who are looking to develop their career and knowledge through a hands-on practical role with the opportunity to develop a variety of skills.


Previous experience within a Production or Recycling environment would be an advantage along with good timekeeping and the willingness to learn.

Company is offering:_

  • 38.5 hours per week plus overtime
  • Monday to Sunday (2 days / 2 nights & 4 days off)
  • Starting salary of £31,931.00
  • Fulltime (Permanent) Employment
  • Bonus scheme

Main Duties involve:_

  • Operate and run machinery, ensuring efficient and safe operation.
  • Set and adjust machine controls including startup and shutdown processes.
  • Carry our cleaning and general maintenance.
  • Conduct regular quality checks on products, identifying and addressing defects or issues promptly.
  • To maintain a general level of tidiness in work areas

To be considered for the position, you will need the following:_

  • Able to work well on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude to safety and quality
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Good attention to detail
  • Previous experience running and operating machinery would be an advantage.
  • Experience working in a production or recycling environment.

Salary:
£32,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
