    Building Regulations Consultant

    We are seeking an experienced construction professional with a building control background to join our team as a Building Regulations Consultant. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a highly respected multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy.

    About the Role

    As a Building Regulations Consultant, you will play a key role in ensuring safety and compliance across a diverse range of projects. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Acting as the Building Regulations Consultant for our design teams.
    • Reviewing full design packages for Building Regulations compliance and producing detailed compliance reports.
    • Coordinating input from internal technical specialists and external consultants where required.
    • Preparing and updating Building Safety Act compliance risk registers and related documentation.
    • Providing expert advice on necessary construction-phase requirements and conducting periodic inspections.

    About You

    We are looking for a proactive and client-focused professional who can manage their own workload, provide sound advice to clients and project teams, and collaborate closely with our H&S Director to develop the Building Regulations Principal Designer service.

    Key Requirements

    • Proven experience in building control or a related field.
    • Strong understanding of Building Regulations and Building Safety Act.
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
    • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
