GTS International are looking to connect with Senior Mechanical Engineers to join our customer that operates in the energy sector in the Birmingham area.

The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be joining this business at a very exciting time and will be working on a diverse range of projects within the Power Generation industry.

You will have exposure to projects relating to the design and analysis of Piping, pressure vessels and equipment as well as Mechanical handling equipment.

The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for...

Designing, reviewing and reviewing Pressure vessels in accordance with PD 5500, ASME VII (dvi1&2), EN13445 and PED 201
Conduct stress analysis on pressure vessels and pipework
Liaise with the Tendering Manager to review and select tenders
Carry out manual mechanical calculations of pressurised equipment such as tanks to all relevant standards
Formulate data sheets, drawings and specifications from data sheets and engineering data
